You could say it all started with a single job in Rockdale. A small, two-story walk-up with cable everywhere and an alarm panel that has definitely seen better days. That was 21 years ago, and that was Tesla Security. It started with the director (Petar Cvijetic), a van, and the kind of word-of-mouth that only comes from doing a job properly and correctly, without cutting corners.
Tesla Security now operates all across Sydney, with teams working on residential, industrial, and commercial properties. Not only in the Rockdale area, but throughout the greater metro region and even inter-state. But even with the growth, the vehicles, and the larger sites, we still find the pride in saying: we’re originally from Rockdale.
Having started in Rockdale, there’s something about it that grounds a business. Maybe it’s the no-nonsense nature of the community. Or the fact that it’s a community where reputation maters. That has always mattered to our security company. Because it’s where we learned that good security isn’t just about wires and lenses, it’s about trust.
And that’s the mindset we have taken with us across every job in Rockdale, Sydney, and inter-state ever since. The job could be a home in Bardwell Valley, a warehouse in Marrickville, or a strata complex out near Parramatta, we install our security systems like we’re going to be the ones living or working there.
